A Ukulele Teacher’s resources for you, now including a bonus Christmas collection!
So you want to take your ukulele playing beyond the first structured lessons, or perhaps you want to step back and work through the early stages again. In the ukulele books linked below you will find a range of lessons taking you right from the beginning. Even better, you’ll find songs you can sing and play and arrangements of tunes for melody playing and chord accompaniment. Sheet music, chord charts, tablature and audio tracks to assist in rehearsals are provided, including:

There are three books in the School Ukulele Orchestra collection for 2020: the Tuition Book, the Accompaniment Book and the Instrumental Book.

The S.U.O. Instrumental Book – Baritone Version
Including a baritone ukulele in your ensemble adds depth and variety to your sound. Playing baritone is a great step for students who are progressing with the ukulele. This downloadable PDF book provides baritone arrangements for the music in the instrumental book.

Many ukulele students will also be interested in guitar. This downloadable PDF book provides guitar versions for the music in the Instrumental Book. The resource will help you to incorporate guitarists into your performance groups.
Chord Chart for Baritone and Soprano Ukuleles
The following file provides common chord diagrams (major, minor, 7th, and diminished 7th) in common musical keys (C, D, E, F, G and A) for both Soprano and Baritone ukuleles (GCEA and DGBE tunings). I hope this will be helpful for those who are learning to move between these wonderful instruments.
